The Buena Vista Orchestra?? They were phenomenal! I adored how they engaged with the audience, their comedic timing, and their talent...And their status as a blues legend is UNRIVALED! They were without a doubt the standout of the evening and a joy to witness. I can proudly declare that "I witnessed them live"
Johnny Lang was a disappointment. I'm unsure why musicians choose to reinterpret the popular songs that draw audiences in with acoustic arrangements that barely resemble the original. People connected with the music because of its original form. It's akin to watching a cover band butcher a classic tune. Despite Johnny's exceptional vocal abilities and talent, I believe he may be overlooking his true calling.
